El seguro no me aprobó la operación porque tengo la azúcar muy alta. Primero quieren que me baje la azúcar y luego me dicen si aprueban la operación o no. Lo que quiero hacer es evitar la diálisis, pero no se qué vamos a tener que hacer ahora. Más tarde me dicen que programa vamos a seguir para poder bajar la azúcar.
Por lo pronto estoy un poco desanimado, pero bueno es mejor para no dañar el riñón nuevo. ¡Así es la vida!

My insurance has denied the operation and we are now officially on hold. I have no idea for how long, but one of the problems is that my sugar levels are too high and I will need to bring them down before the insurance will approve the transplant. I am waiting for information on the Diabetes Center, where they will let me know how to better control my sugar level.
For now I am discouraged, but I guess looking at the bright side of things it is better to bring the sugar under control and not damage the new kidney. Life goes on!

Ten animo tio. Todo saldra bien. Es mejor seguir lo que dice el doctor. Muy pronto vas a ver y tendras un rinon nuevo. Los queremos mucho. Estamos pensando mucho en Uds.
