The Lord continues to bless us. We had a wonderful visit by Bishop Meneses and his family on Sunday. It was great to see them and to be comforted by their warm wishes. Bishop Meneses brought a card from the members of the Rose Park 14th Ward. I scanned the card for all to see. As I read the messages I couldn’t help but be grateful for the many wonderful friends that we have made in the 14th ward. We truly are blessed, because we also received a visit from Bishop Hatch of the Hunter 8th Ward prior to my operation. I want both Bishops to know that I know their callings are of God. I appreciate their concern and their well wishes. As I see the time they spend looking over their flock and tending to their needs, and not a penny paid to them, it reminds me of the service the Lord rendered while here on the earth. He never asked for payment for any of the great miracles that he performed. These two Bishops follow in His footsteps and with priesthood authority go about doing good for their flocks. Thank you for your service!

El Señor nos sigue bendiciendo. El domingo recibimos una hermosa visita por el Obispo Meneses y su familia. Como alentó nuestros corazones saber que están preocupados por nosotros. El Obispo Meneses nos trajo una tarjeta que mandaron los miembros del Barrio 14 de Rose Park. Al leer los mensajes, me puse a pensar que tan bendecidos somos por tener tantos y buenos amigos en el Barrio 14. Hemos sido bendecidos porque también recibimos visita del Obispo Hatch del Barrio 8 de Hunter. Quiero que los dos Obispos sepan cuanto aprecio que hayan tomado de su tiempo para velar por uno de su redil que está necesitado. Aprecio sus buenos deseos y sus preocupaciones por nosotros. Al contemplar el tiempo que rinden para velar por sus rediles, y sin recibir pago alguno, me pongo a pensar en el servicio que rindió muestro Salvador. Nunca pidió pago por su servicio, todo lo dio de buena voluntad. Estos dos Obispos andan en los pasos del Salvador, rindiendo servicio con la autoridad del Sacerdocio, haciendo el bien por sus rediles. ¡Gracias por sus servicio!
