For my English speaking friends:
Every day is a learning experience. If we pay attention, life will teach us what we need to know. Yesterday, I learned that I cannot take my pain pills without food. I got up yesterday and took my pain medication because I was starting to feel pain. I got in a hurry and did not have breakfast. That was a mistake. About half an hour later, I was dizzy, throwing up and had an upset stomach. As soon as I ate something, my stomach settled down and I felt better as the day progressed. Today, I had breakfast before the medications and I felt much better. I am a quick study!
Every day, the pain subsides a little more and I am beginning to feel better. The doctor that operated on me indicated that I would take about ten days to recover, and I can see progress already since we are about half way there. Little by little, I notice that I can do more things with less pain. Thank you for monitoring my progress.
